A boy scout troop is going to learn to build survival snow shelters. There is a plan for an indoor lecture to start, then out into the snow to make it happen! Start: Mar 13 2010
State of Alaska Training and Education Bureau and the National Fire Academy present "Executive Skills Series: Influencing", March 13-14, 2010, 9AM to 5PM at Central Mat-Su Fire Department in Wasilla, Alaska. Influencing is considered a critical leadership skill, particularly at the executive level. This course will examine how leaders successfully influence others to accomplish common goals. Formally planning to influence others will be the primary discussion area within the course. Contact CPT Donaldson for further information/eligibility requirements. |
