Fire Chief Application Information
Chena Goldstream Fire & Rescue (CGFR) is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to become Chief of our department. Starting salary is $80,000 – $100,000 annually DOE with a benefits package. We are offering a $5,000 signing bonus (conditions apply) and reimbursement for moving expenses up to $10,000 (with receipts).
In this role, you have the opportunity to showcase your leadership skills, as this position will be focused heavily on building collaborative and positive relationships with staff, volunteers, other departments, and community stakeholders; staff, student, and volunteer recruitment, mentoring, recognition and leadership building; fire service leadership; emergency medical services management; and department budget and administration. This position will work closely with the Board of Directors and will stay current on all issues concerning the Department.
