December Newsletter
The latest issue of the CGFR newsletter is now available. To save money, we printed and mailed postcards directing everyone to visit our website for the newsletter instead of mailing a printed copy of the entire publication. This cuts our printing and postage costs about $1,000.
If you would like a printed copy of the newsletter, please call the fire station at 479-5672 during business hours. We are happy to mail you a hard copy. We welcome your feedback.
In this issue, we have eight months worth of Volunteers of the Month, a letter from the Chief, a plan to increase the tax cap and a few safety articles. The plan to increase the tax cap as it applies is CGFR is likely to interest many people. More information can be found on Community/Mill Rate Restoration page. We will be bringing more information forward for people in the near future.
Welcome to CGFR!
Welcome to the newest iteration of Chena Goldstream Fire and Rescue's web page. It has been a number of years since our last version was launched. It was directed almost entirely at current volunteers. This new page will have much of the information our current volunteers find useful and it will include many new sections of interest to the general public and to prospective volunteers.
The site is a little barren at the moment, but we will be working to populate the various sections with new information as the days and weeks progress. If you are interested in contributing to the website, please contact paul [at] cgfr [dot] com (Paul Delys) or asorensen [at] cgfr [dot] com (Anna Sorensen).
