CGFR OPEN HOUSE A SUCCESS

I just wanted to send a HUGE thank you to everyone that helped
with the station preparation, event preparation, station manning,
event staffing and all of the other “behind the scene” tasks that
needed to happen to have an AWESOME and successful open house Sunday July27th.

I think it was an outstanding event, and WE made it happen together. Special thanks goes to North Star VFD for loaning us their smokehouse, On's Eggroll House for donating some food, State DOT for loaning us road signage, Fairbanks Fire for loaning us "Fire Event" signage, and Chena Ridge Vet Clinic for allowing us to park in their parking lot.

The demonstrations, smoke house, food and tours were very well
received. Pat yourself on the back. The FFD firefighters
complimented us on the event along with the EVFD personnel.

This is yet another example of what we can do when we work together. I am always amazed at the things we are able to accomplish together.
As always, I am privileged to serve with such a quality group.
Thanks again for your time and dedication to CGFR. You should all be
proud, I know I am.
